About your Team
A Note from David Jahr, Founder
For most of my 35+year career, I have lived at the intersection of words and wellness. I’ve watched how a single, well-crafted book can act as a catalyst—not just for an author’s career, but for a reader’s entire life.

Elle Wilkerson heads the manuscript development. As a ghostwriter, she is a master at bringing the author’s voice to life, and understands their message requires more than polish—they require discernment. She steps into projects at various stages, from early conceptual development to final revision, helping clarify the central argument, strengthen narrative cohesion, and ensure the writing carries both precision and purpose.
Elle has collaborated on manuscripts across health, performance science, faith, and personal development, often translating complex or deeply personal material into work that is both intellectually rigorous and widely accessible. At this level, the challenge is rarely a lack of ideas; it’s deciding which ones matter most and how to craft a book that stays with the reader and leaves the author’s desired impact. Her recent work includes multiple devotionals for a high-profile Christian figure, as well as titles such as The Friendship Zones, The Curiosity Quotient, The Sending Shepherd, Hope for Cancer, and The Longevity Blindspot.
Before moving into editorial work, she spent over a decade teaching AP Language and Composition at a college-preparatory school. That background continues to inform her approach: a deep attention to line of reasoning, an insistence on clarity, and a respect for the relationship between writer and reader.
She often describes her role as story stewardship. She doesn’t impose a voice, but refines it: to ask the questions that sharpen thinking, to shape what’s already present, and to ensure the final work feels both cohesive and unmistakably the author’s. Elle is married with four children, and resides in New Jersey.
